UK DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: AJ Bell Execs Sell Amid Invesco Placing

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

AJ Bell PLC - Senior managers and directors sell 1.7 million shares at 448.64 pence, worth GBP7.6 million on Thursday. Fergus Lyons, managing director of AJ Bell Investcentre, sells 1.3 million shares. Associate Caroline Anne Lyons sells 25,000. CFO Michael Summersgill and Lucy Summersgill sell 425,000 shares. Non-Executive Director Simon Turner sells 10,000. Fergus Lyons remains interested in 17.5 million shares, a 4.3% stake. Michael Sumersgill still has 1.5 million share and Turner 269,142. The director sales came as Numis Securities Ltd on Friday confirmed that Invesco Asset Management Ltd had sold 31.0 million shares in the stockbroker and wealth manager at 400p each for a total of GBP123.9 million. The Invesco sale was conducted by way of an accelerated bookbuild - launched Thursday - in which Numis acted as sole bookrunner. Following completion of the sale of the 7.6% stake, Invesco will hold just 1.3 million shares in AJ Bell, a 0.3% holding.

Anglo Pacific Group PLC - CEO Julian Treger sells 727,665 shares via Kings Chapel International Ltd at 161p, worth GBP1.2 million, on Monday and Friday. The sale was required by a divorce settlement. Tregor continues to hold 4.8 million shares, a 2.6% stake, and has said he intends to retain at least 80% of is pre-existing holding, the company said.

Treatt PLC - Chair Timothy Jones sells 35,000 shares at GBP5.39, worth GBP188,668, on Thursday. Still holds 37,508 shares.

Secure Income REIT PLC - Senior managers and independent directors buy 111,111 shares worth GBP250,000 on Thursday. Management team now hold 40.2 million shares, a 12% stake.

4imprint Group PLC - Non-Executive Chair Paul Moody buys 4,500 shares at GBP21.70, worth GBP97,650, on Friday. Now has 9,500 shares. Non-Executive Director Christina Southall buys 2,000 shares at GBP20.45, worth GBP40,900, on Tuesday. The purchase is her only holding.

ASOS PLC - Non-Executive Director Luke Jensen buys 1,800 shares at GBP27.73, worth GBP49,914, on Friday. Now holds 9,800 shares.

Belvoir Group PLC - David Spackman, managing director of Newton Fallowell business, sells 26,166 shares at 128.2p, worth GBP33,545, on Friday. Continues to hold 66,785 shares.

Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust PLC - Non-Executive Director Patrick Maxwell buys 11,048 shares at GBP7.23, worth GBP79,822, on Friday.

Apax Global Alpha Ltd - Sarah Kingwell, associate of Paul Meader, a director of investment manager Apax Guernsey Managers Ltd, buys 40,000 shares at GBP1.28, worth GBP51,200, on Wednesday and Thursday.

Dignity PLC - Non-Executive Chair Clive Whiley buys 12,000 shares via Zodiac Executive Pension Scheme at 233p, worth GBP27,960, on Friday.

Universe Group PLC - Non-executive directors Malcolm Coster and Ivan Brooks buy 222,018 and 150,000 shares, respectively, at 5.45p, together worth GBP2,027, on Thursday. Coster now holds 1.6 million shares and Brooks 200,000.
