Small caps round-up: Pinnacle Telecom, Plant Health Care...

Shares in Pinnacle Telecom jumped after said it has completed contracts to provide temporary voice and data networks for the Latitude and T in the Park music festivals. Plant Health Care (PHC) is also in demand. The biological fertiliser group signed an agreement for the agricultural products giant Syngenta to develop and market PHC's Harpin protein to be used in combination with Syngenta's herbicide products.Viridas shares put on a growth spurt after the jatropha grower said it has signed an agreement with a 'leading UK energy generator' to supply them hem with 240,000 tonnes of sustainable bio-mass for electricity generation a year.The bio-mass will be made by crushing jatropha seeds. Losses narrowed at Brinkley Mining, which identifies and acquires mining assets that appear to be undervalued, in the half year to June 30.The company posted a pre-tax loss of £134,000, less than the £668,000 deficit seen in the same period the previous year. During the last year Brinkley acquired 12.69% of Dragon Mining which produces gold in Sweden and Finland. It also has assets in South Africa and Sudan.Shares in Conexion Media have had a bad month but perked up considerably at the beginning of the final week of July when the company announced an agreement with production company TeleNext Media.The deal encompasses the administration by Conexion of revenues generated from cable-retransmission schemes and private copying royalties available throughout the world.Shares in Arcontech dropped after the financial data provider saw losses widen to £913,073 from £566,322 in what it called a 'disappointing' year.Universe has sold JetSet for a consideration of about £0.4m in cash. The electronic payment and loyalty card provider plans to use the net proceeds from the sale to reduce debt.Business travel specialist Hogg Robinson said it has performed very well during the first three months of the financial year with client revenue 6% ahead at constant currency.Digital media formatting specialist ZOO Digital has launched an automated style-guide production system for home entertainment products and has secured Warner Home Video International as its first customer.Style-guide production is the latest addition to ZOO's workflow automation toolset. The system has applications in other markets where consistency of branding across multiple language versions is important, such as consumer products, videogames and publishing.
