LONDON (Alliance News) - Tarsus Group PLC said Monday that it was confident of an "excellent result" for 2013, as it continued to exercise its growth strategy and saw strong bookings.
Tarsus is a media company that works in publishing, online media and the organisation of exhibitions and conferences. It said that bookings were currently 12% ahead of 2012. Its second largest event, Labelexpo, saw an 11% revenue increase from the previous year. Re-bookings for the 2015 exhibition were 86%, Tarsus said.
The company's largest event, the Dubai Airshow, will be held later this month. The company said that bookings for the airshow have been strong and are on track to be a record.
"We are very much on track with the execution of our 'Quickening the Pace' strategy and the group has delivered good performances across the major brands, Zuchex, Labelexpo and Offprice," said Managing Director Douglas Emslie in a statement. "In light of strong performances by our flagship brands, we remain confident of an excellent result for 2013."
Shares in Tarsus were trading up 1.00 pence at 250.00 pence Monday morning.
