Torotrak has warned that the outcome for the year to March 2011 is still reliant on potential licence discussions and whether Allison transmission takes-up further options. Transmission systems developer Torotrak has recognised £700,000 of licence income from Allison so far this year. The development programmes being carried out by Torotrak and its partners appear to be progressing well. Drug developer Vernalis increased first half revenue by 26% to £7.2m, with its operating loss reduced from £5.3m to £1.1m. Underlying cash burn reduced from £8.2m to £2.7m. Vernalis raised £28.5m earlier this year and it has £33.8m in the bank. Singer Capital Markets expects to see an increase in licensing and partnering activity.FTSE TechMARK - RisersVernalis (VER) 35.00p +7.69%Logica (LOG) 107.90p +5.78%CSR (CSR) 375.20p +5.54%AstraZeneca (AZN) 3,347.00p +4.51%BT Group (BT.A) 145.50p +4.00%Puricore (PURI) 55.00p +3.77%Intec Telecom Systems (ITL) 73.50p +3.52%Electronic Data Processing (EDP) 47.50p +3.26%BAE Systems (BA.) 325.70p +2.74%NXT (NTX) 9.50p +2.63%FTSE TechMARK - FallersTorotrak (TRK) 20.50p -14.58%Alterian (ALN) 155.50p -4.45%Innovation Group (TIG) 11.50p -4.17%Psion (PON) 76.50p -2.86%E2V Technologies (E2V) 62.00p -2.75%Vislink (VLK) 18.50p -2.63%Consort Medical (CSRT) 380.00p -2.56%Phoenix IT Group (PNX) 224.75p -2.39%Filtronic (FTC) 33.50p -2.19%Triad Group (TRD) 25.00p -2.00%
