Engineering and construction services firm Renew has had a "satisfactory" operating result for the year ended 30 September in line with expectations.Profit before tax and exceptional items dipped to £4.6m from £5.5m on revenue down to £290.4m from £316.6m a year ago. There's been a 50% increase in the order book to £304m and the annual dividend is maintained at 3p a share.Losses grew at mobile payments group Bango during the six months ended 30 September, up to £460,000 from £240,000 a year ago Revenue fell to £10.61m from £12.32m following a drop in low margin end user revenues to £9.80m from £11.59m, partly blamed on operator refund policies in the US that affected two of Bango's largest customers.Bathroom accessories maker Samuel Heath admits it is difficult to predict the full-year outcome and is "fearful" of the early months of 2011.The company raised first half sales to £4.92m from £4.75m a year ago and turned last year's £97,000 loss into a profit of £222,000 in the six months to 30 September. August was a "very difficult and lean month", but business has picked up again since then, said the firm.Gearbox designer Torotrak increased development costs to £2.5m in the first half, but still narrowed interim losses to £1.8m from £2.2m this time last year. Revenue was up to £2m from £1.4m in 2009."Our strong and continued progress in the main-drive transmission programmes with our two lead commercial vehicle customers has reinforced our confidence in proceeding towards production design and subsequent material value through future per unit royalties," said boss Dick Elsy.
