(Alliance News) - Triad Group PLC on Thursday said it has partnered with Stratis Group Ltd to deliver blockchain-based solutions to businesses and other organisations.
The IT consultancy services provider said Stratis will help it to identify where blockchain is the best-placed technology to resolve the business problemsof Triad's clients.
Under the deal, the two companies have agreed to develop, deploy and market blockchain applications to help businesses improve operational processes, enhance security and reduce costs to unlock return on investment.
"By working together, we will make it easier than ever for companies to access the benefits of blockchain and build business-specific applications on a flexible, easy-to-use platform," explained Stratis Chief Executive Chris Trew.
The first project between the two companies will be the development of a blockchain-based parcel tracking application.
"In the first instance, this will mean porting an existing parcel tracking application designed by Triad to the Stratis Platform so that it can run our recently launched Stratis Smart Contracts," Trew said.
Triad shares were trading 3.6% higher in London on Thursday at 37.30 pence each.
