Higher production and improved margins helped ethanol producer GTL Resources more than double profits in the year to March 31.Pre-tax profits climbed to $32.9m from $14.5m the previous year on revenues that were up to $216.6m from $145.5m.Brazil-focused gold miner Serabi Mining has agreed to issue 120m shares at 3p each to Eldorado Gold Corporation, which produces the precious metal in Turkey, China, Brazil and Greece. Following the subscription, Eldorado will hold 26.8% of Serabi's share capital.Property group Stewart & Wright said its portfolio's value rose by 1.1% on a like-for-like basis in the year to March 31.'I am delighted that after two dismal years I am now able to report positive results both in property income and values,' said chairman Michael Conn.Shares in IT services firm Triad have been extremely volatile over the last two years or so and Wednesday was no exception after the company issued disappointing preliminary results and said that anticipated public sector spending cuts are likely to hit the company.The company's loss before tax deepened to £0.61m from £0.04m the year before on revenue that dipped to £27.2m from £32.8m.
