(Alliance News) - TP Group PLC on Tuesday said subsidiary Sapienza Consulting Ltd has signed a EUR2.2 million master service and license deal with the European Space Agency.
The engineering services company said the agreement renews its service provision and related licensing for the Eclipse software suite. The European Space Agency has been using Sapienza's Eclipse suite for ten years, TP Group noted, and this agreement extends its use of the system for a further three years.
Eclipse is a suite of software modules focused on space industry project management activities.
"We are very pleased to continue our work with the European Space Agency and to support its activities through our industry-leading technology and services," said TP Group Chief Executive Phil Cartmell.
"The Sapienza team has established a key role in the European space community, and this award underlines its contribution to and reputation in this rapidly evolving and dynamic market," Cartmell added.
TP Group shares were trading 4.1% higher in London on Tuesday morning at 7.13 pence each.
