Director dealings: Telecom Plus, Inchcape directors linked to purchases

(Sharecast News) - Telecom Plus was on the list of director buys on Tuesday, after its co-chief executive officer was linked to the purchase of more than 6,000 shares.

The company said Rebecca Burnett picked up 6,410 shares on 22 August, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.

Burnett paid 1,560.2295p for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of £100,010.71.

In its disclosure, Telecom Plus said Rebecca Burnett is the wife of its co-CEO Stuart Burnett.

Elsewhere, Inchcape disclosed a purchase of a larger volume of shares, made by a non-executive director.

The firm said Byron Grote bought 6,000 shares in a single transaction on 18 August, also on the London Stock Exchange.

On 21 August, Grote then picked up 4,000 shares in another single transaction.

The director paid 723p for each share in the first transaction, valuing it at £43,380, while the price in the second transaction was 719p, giving it a value of £28,760.

At the close on Tuesday, shares in Telecom Plus were up 1.04% at 1,556p, while those in Inchcape were 0.49% firmer at 722.5p.
