Cranswick PLC - Yorkshire-based meat producer - Martin Davey will retire as executive chair at Cranswick's annual general meeting on July 26. Davey has been a director of Cranswick for 36 years and chair for 17. Cranswick notes Davey was part of the team that brought Cranswick onto the London Stock Exchange in 1985. Non-Executive Director Tim Smith will become chair at the AGM.

Personal Group Holdings PLC - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire-based employee benefits and services provider - Hires Liam McGrath as chief operating officer, starting on Monday next week. McGrath was COO of financial administrative services provider Equiniti Group PLC and also head of Lending Operations at Royal Bank of Scotland.

Spectris PLC - Egham, England-based precision instrumentation and controls supplier - Hires Ravi Gopinath as non-executive director, starting June 1. Gopinath is chief strategy officer and chief cloud officer at Aveva Group PLC, having previously been executive vice president of the software business of Schneider Electric SE that was merged with Aveva in 2018.

Braveheart Investment Group PLC - Hires Sue Hagan as non-executive director, starting Tuesday. Hagan is a pharmacist who currently is working on a Covid-19 in-vitro diagnostic point-of-care device. Previously she worked with biotech start-up Astrimmune Ltd in obtaining grants for the development of a non-invasive bladder cancer monitoring test.

Zenith Energy Ltd - oil & gas production company focused on Africa - Hires Donatien Mpika to be country manager in Republic of Congo, having held the same position for Lynx Energy Trading Congo. Mpika also was an advisor to the government of the Republic of Congo.

Love Hemp Group PLC - cannabidiol products maker - Hires Stephen White as chief marketing officer and Steve Horan as head of Marketing. White and Horan both worked previously for retailer JD Sports Fashion PLC in similar positions. Love Hemp says the pair will help develop its brand globally. Love Hemp is preparing to move to the London Main Market from Aquis Stock Exchange.
