U&I Group PLC - London-based property regeneration developer and investor - Chief Executive Officer Richard Upton buys 108,000 shares at an average price of 68.5p each. Upton was promoted to role of CEO on Tuesday following a stint as chief development officer. U&I Group on Tuesday set itself a 100-day deadline for a strategic review led by Upton that will look ways to simplify and refocus the business toward more predictable income streams.

IG Group Holdings PLC - London-based contract-for-difference provider - Chair Mike McTighe buys 3,100 shares at 827.9 pence each, for GBP25,665.

Shield Therapeutics PLC - Newcastle, England-based pharmaceutical firm focussed on iron deficiency - Chair Hans Peter Hasler buys 100,000 shares at 59p each, which is his only holding.
