SThree PLC - London-based recruitment agency for science, technology, engineering and maths jobs - Expects pretax profit for the financial year ending November 30 to be significantly above market consensus for GBP54.1 million, helped by planned investments being delayed to after November 30, as well as by a strong trading performance. SThree made GBP30.6 million pretax profit in financial 2020 and GBP56.8 million in financial 2019.
Net fees in the third quarter to the end of August are up 29% year-on-year to GBP91.0 million from GBP75.1 million. Versus the third quarter of 2019, net fees are up 11%.
