(Alliance News) - Stanley Gibbons Group PLC said Thursday it has appointed interim Chief Financial Officer Anthony Gee to the role permanently with immediate effect.
As a result, Gee will join the collectible postage stamp retailer's board.
Gee was appointed as interim CFO at the end of March to replace Andrew Cook, who stepped down after three years since 2016 to pursue other interests.
Gee has been a part of Stanley Gibbons for seven years since 2012, his most recent permanent role as chief operating officer.
"Anthony has an unrivalled depth of knowledge of the group's finance and operational functions as a result of his time with us. I am very much looking forward to continuing to work closely with Anthony as we make further progress in making the most of the group's huge potential and delivering on our turnaround plans," said Chief Executive Graham Shircore.
Shares in Stanley Gibbons were down 2.9% at 2.04 pence on Thursday.
