LONDON (Alliance News) - Schroder European Real Estate Investment Trust PLC on Wednesday saw its shares rise as it started trading on London's Main Market.
The trust raised GBP107.5 million from the issue of 107.5 million shares at 100.00 pence per share. Shares in the company were up 2.5% on Wednesday morning to 102.5p.
The total fundraising was slightly lower than the company had initially targeted when it announced its plans to float in November. It had sought to raise up to GBP150.0 million.
The fund will invest in commercial real estate assets in Continental Europe.
