(Sharecast News) - Computer vision technology company Seeing Machines announced the appointment of Luke Oxenham as its chief financial officer (CFO) and a director of the company with immediate effect on Monday.The AIM-traded firm said Oxenham is a senior financial executive with more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience.He previously held CFO roles at several ASX-listed companies including Genworth Mortgage Insurance Australia, and infrastructure business Intoll Group.Seeing Machines said he also held senior positions with responsibility for investor relations and risk management at Macquarie Infrastructure Group, one of the largest developers and owners of toll roads globally, and Deutsche Bank, as well as key commercial positions at National Australia Bank and insurance and financial services group Promina.Oxenham had "substantial experience" of integrating business planning, business performance and capital modelling and of accessing various sources of capital from the debt and equity markets, the board said.He also had "substantial" experience in developing and implementing business strategies across organisations and over multiple jurisdictions."Luke's appointment further strengthens the experience and expertise of our senior management team, following our recent appointments of a chief operating officer and general manager of the group's fleet division," said Seeing Machines chief executive officer Ken Kroeger."Luke is an accomplished senior finance professional and brings to the CFO role at Seeing Machines a blend of commercial, financial and investor relations experience that will significantly complement the capabilities of our leadership team as we implement our growth strategy and address the substantial and growing demand that is emerging for our driver monitoring technology."
