Tue, 05th Jul 2016 14:52

(ShareCast News) - Roxi Petroleum director Edmund Limerick has doubled his stake in the Central Asian oil and gas company as it battles to advance several wells towards production. Limerick, a former investment banker, diplomat and Central Asia specialist, bought 550,000 ordinary shares at a price of 9.5p apiece to double his stake, while his wife also holds 605,000 shares. At its annual shareholder meeting last week, the company provided an update on its many projects, including two separate reservoirs at its 58%-owned BNG deep-well project in Kazakhstan that it is hoped will flow soon.Chairman Clive Carver said at the time the main focus was on developing the existing deep wells to allow flow testing to begin as soon as possible.
