Resolute Mining Ltd - Perth, Western Australia based gold miner with sites in Mali, Senegal and Guinea - Production forecast is unchanged despite swing to loss and revenue drop in first half of 2021. Pretax loss is USD191.2 million compared to profit of USD52.3 million profit in the same period last year, revenue falls 14% to USD261.3 million from USD305.3 million. Says 163,118 ounces of gold were produced in the period at all-in sustaining cost of USD1,277 per ounce, total gold sales of 151,503 ounces at an average realised price of USD1,723 per ounce. Declares no interim dividend.
Sells Bibiani Gold Mine in Ghana to Asante Gold Corporation for USD90 million in mid-August.
Reports on Wednesday it saw "outstanding" drill results at Tabakoroni, Syama North, and notes multiple high-grade sulphide gold results at the site.
