LONDON (Alliance News) - Rambler Metals & Mining PLC Wednesday said that it delivered its largest shipment to date of copper and gold concentrate from the Goodyear's Cove in Canada.
The copper and gold producer, which operates in Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada, said that it has delivered 8,925 wet metric tonnes of copper and gold concentrate from Goodyear's Cove, a fully integrated concentrate storage and shipping facility.
It said that according to its internal sampling estimates, an average grade for the shipment was 28.5% copper, 7 grammes per tonne gold, and 55 grammes per tonne silver. It said the shipment was the sixth completed to date, bringing the total delivered to approximately 41,500 wet metric tonnes.
"While the weather itself was challenging, the concentrate production remained constant in turn keeping the company above budgeted guidance for the fiscal year," said Chief Executive Officer Norman Williams in a statement.
Rambler said it still has over 1,800 wet metric tonnes of concentrate in storage at its Goodyear's Cove facility.
Shares in Rambler Metals and Mining were down 0.9% at 27.50 pence per share Wednesday morning.
