North Midland Hires Former Low & Bonar CFO As Non-Executive Director

LONDON (Alliance News) - North Midland Construction PLC said Wednesday it has hired former Low & Bonar PLC Chief Financial Officer Michael Holt as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.

Holt was chief financial officer of building materials company Low & Bonar from 2010 and 2017.

He is currently a non-executive director, and chair of the audit and risk committees, of Schroders Asian Total Return Investment Co PLC and a non-executive director, and chair of the audit committee, of Real Good Food PLC.

"I am very excited to welcome Mike to the North Midland Construction board. His financial and listed company experience will bring great knowledge to the board and we are all looking forward to working with him. He will be an excellent fit with the rest of the board," Executive Chairman Robert Moyle said.

Prior to Low & Bonar, Holt was chief financial officer of specialist equipment rental company Vp PLC for six years from 2004 to 2010.

North Midland also announced Ian Elliot will replace retiring Steve Brown as Senior Independent Director with immediate effect.

Shares in North Midland Construction were up 0.9% Wednesday at 439.00 pence each.
