EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Quixant hires from XP Power; Impax taps former MP

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Quixant PLC - Cambridge, England-based technology for gaming and broadcast industries - Hires Johan Olivier as chief financial officer, a board position, starting August 31. Olivier joins from FTSE 250-constituent XP Power Ltd, where he has been group financial director for three years, including serving as acting CFO for a period. Olivier replaces Andrew Jarvis, who has been interim CFO and who will remain at Quixant until the end of the year for a handover.

Greatland Gold PLC - exploration and development company with assets in Australia - Hires Christopher Toon as CFO, a non-board role, starting on Monday next week. Toon has held senior finance roles at Sydney- and Singapore-listed companies, most recently Sandfire Resources Ltd.

XLMedia PLC - London-based marketing firm operating in online gaming, personal finance and sports - CFO Iain Balchin will leave the company on July 22. Rowan Ellis, who is working as a financial consultant to XLMedia, will become interim CFO but won't join the board.

Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings PLC - Gaydon, Warwick-based luxury automaker - Hires Amedeo Felisa, Natalie Massenet and Marigay McKee as independent non-executive directors. Meanwhile, Franz Reiner replaces Stephan Unger as the representative non-executive director of shareholder Mercedes-Benz AG. All effective immediately. Felisa is chair of Atop Spa and was chief executive officer of Ferarri NV from 2008 to 2016. Massenet is co-founder & managing partner of retail and technology investor Imaginary Ventures. She founded online fashion retailer Net-A-Porter in 1999. McKee is co-founder & managing partner of Fernbrook Capital Management LLC, which invests in digital brands. She previously was president of department store chain Saks Fifth Avenue in the US. Reiner is CEO of Daimler Mobility AG.

Electrocomponents PLC - London-based electronic and industrial components maker - Hires Dixons Carphone PLC CEO Alex Baldock as non-executive director, starting September 1. On Thursday, Electrocomponents reported a strong first-quarter performance, with double-digit revenue growth, solidifying expectations for the group's current financial year.

DCC PLC - Dublin-based sales, marketing and support services - Cormac McCarthy, a non-executive director since 2016, has died, DCC says. Jane Lodge, who was due to retire at the DCC annual general meeting on July 16, now will continue as a non-executive director.

Impax Environmental Markets PLC - invests in small to mid cap companies deriving at least 50% of revenue from environmentally friendly goods and services - Hires Nicholas Hurd, a former UK member of Parliament, as independent non-executive director, starting August 1. Hurd was the Conservative Party representative for Ruislip Northwood & Pinner for 14 years before standing down in 2019. He served as a government minister for 9 of those years, including as minister for Climate Change.

Redcentric PLC - Harrogate, North Yorkshire-based IT managed services - Hires Helena Feltham as independent non-executive director. Feltham is senior independent director of fashion retail Ted Baker PLC. She held a series of executive roles at retailers, including B&Q, part of Kingfisher PLC, Woolworths Holdings Ltd in South Africa, and Marks & Spencer Group PLC.

Henderson Opportunities Trust PLC - aims for capital growth in excess of FTSE All-Share Index from portfolio of UK companies - Hires Harry Morgan as non-executive director, starting August 1. Morgan is non-executive director of Mid Wynd International Investment Trust PLC. He was director of investment management and head of key clients in Scotland for Tilney until last September.

CentralNic Group PLC - London-based domain name registry and registrar services firm - Forms a Data & Artificial Intelligence group within the company to leverage the large datasets to which it has access. The new team is headed by Chief Data Scientist Pawel Rzeszucinski. Before joining CentralNic, Rzeszucinski worked at Swiss engineering firm ABB Ltd and UK lender HSBC Holdings PLC.
