EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Power Metal Resources picks new CEO, confirms chair

Fri, 10th Mar 2023 11:16

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced this week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Power Metal Resources PLC - metals exploration company, focused on North America, Africa and Australia - Hires Sean Wade as chief executive officer and board director, replacing Paul Johnson, who steps down immediately "to focus on certain critical family health matters". Notes Wade has held senior roles at miners Berkeley Energia Ltd, Pensana PLC, and Asia Resource Minerals PLC. Scott Richardson Brown becomes permanent non-executive chair, having been interim chair since October 2021. Power Metal Resources says it plans to hire a finance director, a technical director, and an additional non-executive director, adding to the current two. Johnson, the company's largest shareholder, will continue to work with the new management team, including on the completion of disposals and spin-outs.

----------

Genuit Group PLC - Leeds, England-based plastic pipes manufacturer, formerly known as Polypipe - Mark Hammond steps down as senior independent director but will remain on board beyond the end of his nine-year term in April. Hammond is expected to remain on the board until October to help with the handover to new non-executive directors. Lisa Scenna replaces Hammond as senior independent director on Wednesday. She has been on the board since September 2019.

----------

Ibstock PLC - Leicestershire, England-based maker of clay and concrete building products - Promotes Louis Eperjesi to senior independent director, replacing Tracey Graham, who will step down as a director at the annual general meeting on April 27. Eperjesi has been on the Ibstock board since June 2018.
