Produce Investments Reports Loss Of Major Supply Contract

LONDON (Alliance News) - Produce Investments PLC on Friday said one of its major customer has decided to implement a new single-supplier strategy and, as a result, the company will lose the supply contract once the existing agreement expires in August 2019.

Produce Investments, which supplies potatoes and daffodil bulbs, will gradually phase out svolumes to the undisclosed customer over a three-year period from the expiration of the current contract.

Produce Investments said it continues to work hard to drive new business and mitigate any negative impact from the contract loss.

Shares were trading 0.3% higher at 191.00 pence each.
