Paragon Entertainment signs deal with Turkish firm

Mon, 05th Sep 2016 12:37

(ShareCast News) - Attractions design, production and fit-out business Paragon Entertainment announced on Monday that it has entered into a representation agreement with Gülsah Öztürk, a museums, attractions and heritage specialist based in Turkey. The AIM-traded firm said Gülsah Öztürk will represent Paragon's bespoke attractions design, development and build offering across the Turkish region with a focus on museums and heritage. It said the agreement will allow Paragon increased access to regional projects, businesses, local trades and materials. While Paragon has delivered projects to Turkish clients, to date it has had a limited sales and marketing presence in Turkey. The board said it is Paragon's objective to increase its representation base around the world so as to attract and find new projects in new regions where it is not currently active.Paragon now has representation deals in China, the Middle East, Northern Africa, Latvia and the Baltic States, and Turkey."I am delighted to announce this deal. Gülsah Öztürk and Paragon have a working relationship that goes back five years," said Paragon CEO Mark Pyrah."As most projects require local understanding, representation on the ground is an important strategic step to drive sales and growth in areas of the world and the Middle East has proved this to us over the last 18 months."Pyrah said Paragon has created some "significant projects" in the Turkish region over the last five years, including the Florya National Aquarium and the famous Simulation Centre in Kapatepe focusing on the Gallipoli Campaign."Working with Gülsah Öztürk, we intend to revive our presence in this important world heritage space and build on the portfolio we have created."
