A Non-Executive Director of Aberdeen Asset Management last week bought a stake in the FTSE 100-listed group worth 60,000 pounds, it was announced on Monday. Richard Mully, who has sat on the board since April 2012, acquired 15,000 shares at 400p a go. The purchase came just a week after the group reported a drop in quarterly assets under management (AuM) and a fall in gross inflows in the face of "weaker investor sentiment". AuM came to £193.6bn at December 31st 2013, down from £200.4bn at the end of September and lower than analyst expectations.Gross inflows in three months to end of December were £6.8bn, compared to £9.6bn the previous quarter.The past 12 months have been a volatile year for the company's share price, which in that time has seen a high of 500p and low of 348p.
