NetScientific PLC - life sciences and technology investment and commercialisation company - Notes that the Covid-19 vaccine commercialisation consortium jointly run by NetScientific's PDS Biotechnology Corp, Blanver Farmoquimica e Farmaceutica SA and Farmacore Biotechnology has received a USD60 million funding commitment from the Secretary for Research and Scientific Training of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Commercialisation of Brazil.
Proceeds will go towards performing a combined phase 1/2 clinical trial, upon authorisation by the Brazilian regulatory agency.
NetScientific has a 5.8% stake in PDS.
Current stock price: 59.40 pence, closed 26% higher on Thursday.
Year-to-date change: up 28%
