Netcall In Annual Revenue Rise And Sharp Profit Hike

Wed, 25th Sep 2019 11:10

(Alliance News) - Netcall PLC on Wednesday recorded a full-year earnings rise, but lowered its final dividend payout.

In year ended June 30, the customer engagement software provider delivered a 4.7% revenue rise to GBP22.9 million from GBP21.9 million with pretax profit rising sharply to GBP752,000 from GBP45,000.

Annual contract value at June 30 came in at GBP15.7 million, up 11% year-on-year from GBP14.2 million. The total annual contract value refers to the value of each cloud and support deal divided by the total number of years of the agreement.

Netcall said it has entered the new financial year with a "strong sales pipeline" and has secured "significant new contract wins".

The company proposed a final dividend of 0.20 pence per share, down 62% from 0.53p but in line with policy to pay-out 25% of adjusted earnings per share. Adjusted earnings per share fell to 0.80p from 2.11p in financial 2018.

Chief Executive Henrik Bang said: "Netcall continued the transition to a cloud business delivering a strong performance in our key financial metrics of cloud services and product bookings and annual contract value. The group enters the new year in a healthy financial position, combining growing recurring revenues with a compelling proposition in a significant growth market."

Shares in Netcall were 1.4% lower at 25.15 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
