LONDON (Alliance News) - Murray International Trust PLC Tuesday said its net asset value rose 1.1% in the three months ended March 31 to 989.9 pence, outperforming its benchmark which was flat.
The trust's share price as at the end of March was 1,043.0 pence, up only 0.1% on the previous quarter.
The primary aim of the company is to achieve a total return greater than its benchmark by investing predominantly in equities worldwide.
Shares in the trust were up 0.4% at 1,049.00 pence per share Tuesday afternoon.
