EXECUTIVE CHANGES: New chairs for Naked Wines, Countryside Properties

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Naked Wines PLC - Norwich, Norfolk-based online wine retailer - Hires Darryl Rawlings as independent non-executive director with plans for Rawlings to succeed Ian Harding as chair at the company's annual general meeting in August. Naked Wines had previously said Harding would retire in the summer after serving on the board for eight years. Rawlings is founder and chief executive officer of Trupanion Inc, a Seattle-based company that provides medical insurance for cats and dogs in the US and Canada. Naked Wines says Rawlings' experience in building a direct-to-consumer business will help in its own expansion.

Countryside Properties PLC - Brentwood, Essex-based housebuilding and brownfield land regeneration - Hires John Martin as non-executive chair designate, joining Tuesday and replacing David Howell as chair on May 1. Countryside had announced Howell's plan to stand down back in December. Until 2019, Martin was CEO of plumbing and heating products distributor Ferguson PLC and before that chief financial officer.

Bonhill Group PLC - London-based business-to-business media - Non-Executive Chair Neil Sachdev won't stand for re-election at May 27 AGM, having served on the board since 2017. Bonhill appoints Jonathan Glasspool as his replacement as chair. Glasspool was an executive director of Bloomsbury Publishing PLC, managing director of Bloomsbury's non-consumer division, and president of Bloomsbury USA & India.

Murray International Trust PLC - global equities investment managed by Aberdeen Standard - Hires Nicholas Melhuish as independent non-executive director, starting May 1. Melhuish is a non-executive director of JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust PLC. He was head of global equities at Amundi SA before joining Corpus Christi College, Oxford as fellow and bursar.

Coca-Cola European Partners PLC - Uxbridge, Middlesex-based Coke bottler covering most of western Europe, including Germany, France and the UK - Irial Finan resigns from the board, and Manolo Arroyo is nominated by European Refreshments to replace him. Arroyo is chief marketing officer of Coca-Cola Co, and European Refreshments is a wholly owned subsidiary of the US company.

Napster Group PLC - London-based operator of MelodyVR and Napster music streaming platforms - Hires Emmy Lovell as chief strategy officer, a newly created role, reporting to Founder & CEO Anthony Matchett. Lovell was executive vice president of WEA Europe, part of Warner Music Group.

Danakali Ltd - developing Colluli potash project in Eritrea - Chief Financial Officer Stuart Tarrant resigns to "pursue another career opportunity", having led the process to obtain a USD200 million senior secured debt facility for the Colluli project. Head of Finance Greg MacPherson will take on the majority of Tarrant's responsibilities.

Kosmos Energy Ltd - oil and gas exploration and production along Atlantic Margins - Promotes Tim Nicholson to senior vice president & head of Exploration and John Shinol to SVP & chief geoscientist. Both have been with Kosmos since 2018, working on the company's exploration in the US Gulf of Mexico and in Equatorial Guinea. Tracey Henderson, the previous SVP of Exploration, has left to "pursue other interests".

Jersey Oil & Gas PLC - oil and gas exploration and production on UK Continental Shelf - Hires Les Thomas as independent non-executive director, starting immediately. Thomas was CEO of Ithaca Energy Inc until last year and before that was a board member of energy services and infrastructure group John Wood Group PLC as chief executive of its Production Facilities business. He currently is a non-executive director of AIM-listed engineering firm Avingtrans PLC.

Lookers PLC - Altrincham, Cheshire-based motor retail and aftersales service - Heather Jackson to step down as non-executive director from April 30, after two years on the board.

Vast Resources PLC - mining and mine development in Romania and Zimbabwe - Hires Edward Hollings to be processing manager at Baita Plai polymetallic mine in Romania. Hollings was process manager at Toronto-listed Endeavour Mining Corp.
