LONDON (Alliance News) - Investment company Limitless Earth PLC said it is in talks over a potential investment in the life sciences area, picking it out from more than 20 investment opportunities it has considered in the first few months since listing on AIM in May.
In a statement, Limitless Earth said it is focused on ensuring it makes the "right investment in the right sector at the right time".
"It has looked carefully at more than twenty investment opportunities in the first months of operations and has engaged advisers on one investment in the Life Sciences area where discussions with management are ongoing," Limitless Earth said in a statement.
Limitless Earth said it will pay particular attention to companies in the life sciences area in the second half, including health and wellness and food supply companies. It is also considering businesses that benefit from changing consumption habits as a result of changing demographics and socio-economic factors.
The news came as Limitless Earth reported a net loss on operations of GBP175,806, of which GBP168,000 was attributed to the cost of listing on AIM.
The period under review covers two and a half months of trading on AIM. Limitless Earth was reporting half-yearly results for the six months ended July 31.
Limitless Earth shares were untraded on Friday. They last traded at 4.5 pence.
