The following is a press release from Moody's Investors Service: UK Prime RMBS Indices -- April 2010 London, 11 June 2010 -- The performance of the UK prime residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) market continued its stable trend lines during April 2010, according to the latest indices published by Moody's Investors Service. In April 2010, the 90-days plus delinquency trend was stable at 1.9%, the repossessions trend remained at 0.07% and the cumulative losses trend increased marginally to 0.13% from 0.12% in March. The Moody's annualised total redemption rate (TRR) trend increased to 11.5% during the month which is down from the 13.8% recorded in April last year. There were no issuances in the UK Prime market in April 2010, however one new issuance, Arkle Master Issuer plc Series 2010-1, came at the start of May. The Arkle Master Trust, sponsored by Lloyds TSB Bank plc (Aa3/P-1) and Cheltenham and Gloucester plc, issued Series 2010-1 notes totalling GBP3.4billion. In total, 122 UK Prime RMBS transactions have been launched and rated by Moody's since 1999.
