LONDON (Alliance News) - Wealth manager Kingswood Holdings Ltd on Monday announced a new head of its US arm as it looks to expand operations.
Najib Canaan, Kingswood said, has over 30 years' experience and joins from Marinus Capital Advisor, where he was founding partner and chief investment officer.
Before that, Canaan was head of structuring finance at GSO Capital, an affiliate of Blackstone Group. He also has co-led Nomura International PLC's European fixed income arm.
Chief Executive Gary Wilder said: "I'm delighted to welcome Najib to Kingswood. His extensive knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we grow in the US.
"We've made huge strides in expanding and reinforcing the Kingswood brand in the UK over the last 12 months and we see the US as a really exciting market."
Shares were untraded on Monday, last quoted at a price of 11.50 pence each.
