The FTSE small cap index closes up 0.4 percent, broadly in-line withthe blue-chip FTSE 100, while the junior-listed FTSE AIM All Share Index ends flat.
NetDimensions rises 20.7 percent after the software servicescompany says in a trading update that it expects revenues well above marketexpectations.
"NetDimensions closed out a barnstorming 2013 bringing that '$50 million in5 years' strategy tantalisingly closer," Panmure Gordon analysts write in aresearch note.
Panmure keeps a "buy" rating on NetDimensions shares and raises its pricetarget on the stock to 150 pence from 134 pence.
Shares in Great Western Mining more than double in value, with thestock ending 133 percent higher, after the company says it expects to be in aposition to submit drilling permit applications within the next month.
Karelian Diamond Resources falls 27.9 percent to 3.28 pence afterthe company raises 750,000 pounds ($1.23 million) before expenses by placing37.5 million shares at a discount price of 2 pence each.
