(Alliance News) - Journeo PLC on Wednesday announced it has been appointed preferred supplier for CCTV and associated IT sub-systems with London bus operator Metroline.
Journeo is an information systems and technical services business focussed on public transport and related infrastructure within towns, cities, airports, and local authorities.
Journeo did not disclose the value of the contract or its duration.
Journeo's fleet division supplied Metroline with their first digital wing-mirror safety systems in 2019 and in 2020 reached an agreement with Falcon Engineering, Metroline's in-house support business, for the supply of replacement components and spares.
"We look forward to working with them and applying our IoT and cloud-based systems and services to improve sustainability in public transport as they upgrade their fleets," commented Chief Executive Russ Singleton.
Shares in Journeo were down 2.9% at 102.00 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
