LONDON (Alliance News) - Cyber security firm Falanx Group Ltd said Thursday Alexander Hambro has been hired as non-executive chair with immediate effect, with acting Chief Executive & Chair Mike Read stepping back to the CEO role only.
Hambro is currently also co-founder and chair at scientific devices maker Judges Scientific PLC. He is also chair to a number of other non-listed investment firms. He is also a principal at Welbeck Capital Partners which has supported Falanx in recent fundraisings.
"I am delighted that Alex has joined us," Read said. "He brings considerable corporate finance and corporate governance experience to the business and his appointment as non-executive chairman will allow me to focus on my role as CEO and drive forward our growth plans."
Shares in Falanx were 6.2% lower at 2.44 pence on Thursday.
