Wow. 25% increase in the last week. That is a very fast paced recovery!

Was a bit out of the ordinary but worth while. More so know as this year Rockwash was acquired. Now the same customers can be offered two separate products from each end of the spectrum, they enhance each other. That now makes 25 companies now i think Judges own. This year should be alot better and 2026 better again.

I've been interested in Judges for a long time but have had a planned entry price below £40. I like a great deal about the company - the value investor approach, the commitment to transact once heads of terms agreed, the ability for management to stay on after the purchase, the freedom acquired business have to develop and grow (yet with significant capital allocation decisions retained by HQ). I like a lot... except the Geotek deal, where the sum paid appears to be an anomaly - considerably above the usual 5xEBIT guide.

Any views ?

Damaging in one way with American buyers, but may increase European and Asian market as US suppliers will pay higher tariffs on import to Europe and Asia, so should balance out. A better year is due this year, added more over he last few days and more today. Also am banking on an increase in research grants in the US as Trump does not want to get left behind. But you never know. GLA

I was thinking of increasing my holding. Then questor is tipping Judges. Came to my senses and preparing for a very bumpy ride.
