LONDON (Alliance News) - Polymer company Itaconix PLC said Monday it intends to appoint the founder and chief executive officer of Norris Biomedical Services Ltd as interim chief financial officer.
Michael Norris will assume the CFO role at Itaconix with effect from September 1 and will succeed Robin Cridland, who retires at the end of August. Norris will not be made a director at Iconix.
Norris also serves as chairman or part-time CFO of MedePad Ltd, Rapid Rhythm Ltd, Medical Devices Ltd, Alchemy Pharmatech Ltd, and Handsome Ltd.
On Friday, Itaconix said that Bryan Dobson had stepped down as chairman and had been made a non-executive director. Kevin Matthews, who had been serving as CEO, was made executive chairman.
Itaconix then appointed John Shaw, a director at Kensington Research Inc, as CEO with immediate effect.
Shares in Itaconix were up 0.2% at 2.21 pence on Monday.
