(Alliance News) - Risk management software provider Ideagen PLC said Tuesday it has appointed Emma Hayes as chief financial officer with effect on July 1.
She will be replacing Graeme Spenceley, who will retire on the same date after ten years in the role since 2010 to take up the non-board, part-time role of company secretary.
Hayes will be joining from FTSE 100 water and waste utility Severn Trent PLC, where she has been finance director for Capital Delivery & Commercial for three years since 2017.
Prior to that, she was part of accountants Deloitte LLP for ten years from 2007 to 2017 as corporate finance director.
"Firstly, the board would like thank Graeme for his outstanding commitment to Ideagen. His insight, acumen and support over the past 10 years has been invaluable and it has been a great pleasure to work alongside him. We are pleased that Graeme will remain with the business as company secretary which will provide for a robust transition," said Chief Executive Ben Dorks.
"The board is delighted to welcome Emma to the group who brings with her a deep understanding of both financial structures and processes and M&A," Dorks added.
Shares in Ideagen - which is based in Nottingham - were down 0.7% at 190.25 pence on Tuesday in London.
