LONDON, Nov 24 (IFR) - HSBC said Bryan Pascoe, its grouptreasurer, is moving to head client coverage for its commercialbanking arm.
The bank said a replacement for Pascoe as treasurer had notyet been named, and Pascoe will remain in his role until then.
Pascoe has been at HSBC for 20 years and held a number ofsenior positions in its global banking and markets business,including head of debt capital markets, before becomingtreasurer in May 2015. In his new role he will report to NoelQuinn, chief executive of global commercial banking.
The move was one of several in the commercial bank. HSBCsaid Kwabena Ayirebi is returning to the UK to join the Europeancommercial banking team, where he will report to Jonathan Moore,chief operating officer. Ayiberi was most recently regional headof global trade and receivables finance (GTRF) for the MiddleEast and North Africa.
Taking Ayiberi's regional GTRF role will be Sunil Veetil,who has been head of global liquidity and cash management forMENA since 2013.
Ajay Sharma has been appointed head of GTRF for AsiaPacific. Sharma is currently global co-head of internationalsubsidiary banking in Hong Kong. Cate Luzio will become solehead of that business. (Reporting by Steve Slater; editing by Alex Chambers)
