Great Portland Estates PLC - London-based commercial property developer - Hires three new executives as part of an effort to grow its Flex portfolio of flexible workspaces to 1 million square feet from half a million now. Felicity Roocke and Trevor Phyo both join Great Portland Estates from Fora, part of flexible office provider Office Group. Roocke was head of Design at Fora and will be head of Design & Delivery for Workspaces at GPE. Phyo was head of Development at Fora and will be senior development manager at GPE. Meanwhile, Chris Stokes will be head of Customer Experience for Flex Workspaces, joining from flexible workspace specialist Instant Group Ltd.

IN BRIEF: Great Portland leases new Oxford Street store to TK Maxx

Great Portland Estates PLC - London-based property developer - Says apparel and homeware retailer TK Maxx has signed up to lease a 22,500 square feet retail space at Great Portland's 92,100 square feet Mount Royal retail property on London's Oxford Street. The new space will be TK Maxx's second Oxford Street store, "having traded successfully from the street since 2019". Company also announces that health and beauty retailer Superdrug has re-geared its retail lease on its 8,000 square feet store at Mount Royal for another ten years. Both spaces are west of Oxford Circus. Says it has a further 20,000 square feet of "prime retail space" under offer at Mount Royal's western side, and expects more deals later this year.
