(Alliance News) - Gulf Marine Services PLC on Tuesday said it has won a five-year maintenance contract, with options to extend, with a Middle East national oil company, which it didn't name.
The contract - which is an extension to an existing vessel contract - will be managed by the maintenance services division created in 2019.
"The creation of the maintenance services division is an important and logical step in the evolution of Gulf Marine Services, as we progressively expand our service offering to customers," said Executive Chair Tim Summers.
The support vessel provider said the work to be performed as part of the contract includes scope definition & scheduling, detailed work preparation & execution including the management of the material supply chain, as well as mechanical fabrication.
Gulf Marine shares were trading up 1.2% at 8.30 pence each at midday Tuesday in London.
