(ShareCast News) - Deputy chairman of SABMiller Guy Elliot has bought shares in the brewing company worth a total of £37,343.Elliott, who is also a senior independent director, bought 895 shares for £33.56 each. He also purchased 219 shares for £33.49.The announcement came amid reports SABMiller could be forced to close its operations in South Sudan due to a currency shortage, according to Bloomberg at the weekend.Also on Monday, the chairman of Gaming Realms acquired 76,923 shares in the company for 24.25p, spending £18,664.Michael Buckley now holds 20m shares, which represents 8.16% of the group's issued share capital.The company announced this month it has acquired the assets of RealNetworkd for a total consideration of $18m.To fund the acquisition, Gaming Realms has conditionally raised £12.5m through the proposed placing of up to 50m new shares at 25p per share.The placing will fund up to $14m of the consideration in respect of the acquisition and will also provide ongoing working capital for the enlarged group.
