LONDON (Alliance News) - Vehicle hire company Northgate PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed Bill Spencer as a non-executive director.
Spencer carries out the same role at London-listed postal services company UK Mail Group PLC and is a senior independent director at testing, calibration and advisory services company Exova Group PLC.
Spencer was also chief financial officer of testing, inspection and certification company Intertek Group PLC between 1995 and 2010, prior to which he held a number of senior financial appointments with automotive retail and services group Inchcape PLC, beverage can maker Rexam PLC, and energy company Centrica PLC.
"I am delighted to welcome Bill to the board of Northgate. He brings a wide range of experience which includes being CFO of a FTSE 100 company and, as a non-executive director, has served as audit chair. I'm sure that Bill's experience will be of great benefit to Northgate," Chairman Andrew Page said in a statement.
