Exillon Energy Production From Russia Rises In April

LONDON (Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC said Wednesday that production from its two Russian assets rose in April, having hit their lowest level since June 2013 in March, although production did not meet the levels it had achieved in February.

The company achieved an average daily production rate of 17,037 barrels of oil per day in April, up from 16,401 barrels of oil per day in March, although below the 17,459 it achieved in February.

Average production from Timan-Pechora was 3,688 barrels of oil per day, up from 3,095 barrels of oil per day in March. Average production from West Siberia rose to 13,349 barrels of oil per day, up from 13,306 barrels of oil per day in March.

Peak daily production in April was 17,622 barrels of oil per day, up from 17,577 barrels of oil per day. In February, peak daily production was 18,088 per day.

Shares in Exillon are trading up 0.8% at 109.00 pence Wednesday morning.
