essensys PLC - London-based provider of software-as-a-service platforms and cloud services to the flexible workspace industry - Swings to pretax profit for the year ended July 31 of GBP346,000, from loss of GBP1.4 million a year prior, thanks to there being no IPO-related expenses which cost the company GBP1.5 million a year before. Revenue increased by 9% to GBP22.5 million from GBP20.6 million. Does not declare a final dividend, unchanged. Says it has seen an improvement in new sales activity and an increase in its broader global pipeline. Says the growing sales pipeline and positive long-term market dynamic supports its confidence of further progress in the year ahead.
