EKF Diagnostics Holdings PLC - Cardiff-based diagnostics and central laboratory assay maker - Posts improved profit for 2021. Pretax profit rises by 39% to GBP21.4 million from GBP15.4 million in 2020, as revenue grows 25% to GBP81.8 million from GBP65.3 million. Proposes slightly higher dividend of 1.2 pence per share from 1.1p the year before. For the first quarter of 2022, EKF Diagnostics expects a performance in line with 2021. The company sees no benefit from further Covid-related manufacturing and a significant reduction in pandemic-related contracts in 2022.
