(Alliance News) - Edinburgh Investment Trust PLC on Monday said it has increased its second interim dividend payout to 6.40 pence per share for its financial year ending March 31.
The amount represents a 2.4% increase to the 6.25 dividend paid in the same period the year prior.
The trust said the dividend will be paid on February 28 to shareholders on the register at the end of the day Friday next week. The last trading day with interim dividend rights is Thursday next week.
Edinburgh Investment said that the first interim dividend of 6.40 pence was paid on November 29 to shareholders on the register on November 15.
Shares in the investment trust were down 2.2% at 613.00 each on Monday afternoon in London.
