Construction consultancy Driver Group has made further progress to its Africa business following the award of a further contract. The deal is worth around $4.0m, but all other details remain confidential, the firm said. The project will be undertaken by a commercial joint venture between Driver Group Africa and Matrix Project Managers. Chief Executive Officer Dave Webster said: "We are delighted to report continued progress in our Africa business especially via our strategic project management service offering. "This latest contract win demonstrates the strengthening of our business in the region and a continuation of our plans to seek out appropriate joint venture opportunities."The share price leapt 9.26% to 59p by 08:30.NR
