LONDON (Dow Jones)--Driver Group PLC (DRV.LN), which provides a range of consultancy services to the construction and engineering industries, said Thursday Damien McDonald has been appointed as finance director for the group, effective Aug. 1. MAIN FACTS: -Damien joined Driver in April 2008 and has worked closely with Colin since then. -The appointment follows Colin White's resignation and the board's agreement that the resignation takes effect on July 31 in order that White can take up a new role. -Shares at 1203 GMT unchanged at 27 pence, valuing the company at GBP7.1 million. -By Tapan Panchal, Dow Jones Newswires.
