Downing Renewables & Infrastructure Trust PLC - investor in solar parks, wind farms and hydroelectric plants - Raises GBP14.9 million from placing and primary bid offer. Places 14.2 million shares at 102.5 pence per ordinary share, totalling GBP14.6 million. In addition, places 312,290 new shares from primary offer at same price, totalling GBP320,000. Singer Capital Markets Securities acts as sole bookrunner.
Proceeds from the placing will go towards taking advantage of pipeline assets identifies by the investment manager, including four opportunities in negotiations with a total investment amount of around GBP87 million.
