LONDON (Alliance News) - Consumer engagement software firm Dev Clever Holdings PLC said Friday it is now able to offer its electronic point of sale application across the systems operated by US software firm Oracle Inc.
Following the release, Dev Clever explained its Engage platform is now available to merchants and operators across the hospitality, sports, entertainment, hotel and leisure sectors operating compatible Oracle EPOS systems.
The release was issued after Dev Clever became part of the Oracle Partner Network.
Engage allows sellers to promote specific products and offers to consumers and instantly reward them for their purchase through prizes, discounts and other incentives.
"The Engage EPOS application is a step change in the way purchase driven incentives are promoted to consumers, replacing the need to give out physical printed tokens to validate a product sale prior to issuing rewards or the chance to win high value incentives," Dev Clever Chief Executive Chris Jeffries said.
"This application removes the need for human interaction as part of a promotion which reduces risk, increases consumer accessibility and reduces the cost to brands, merchants and operators promoting the incentive," Jeffries added.
Sellers will be able to use Engage as a software-as-a-service basis. This is designed around a licence model in which Dev Clever would receive a set-up and customisation fees alongside a per unique token generation cost.
Shares in Dev Clever were 0.5% lower at 10.07 pence on Friday.
